Media Accreditation

Southampton Pride is a completely volunteer lead organisation with none of our family being paid for the work we do. Without the hard work of our incredible volunteers, our event simply could not operate.

Do you wish to participate in this year’s Southampton Pride as a journalist or videographer? Please fill out the form below no later than 21st August 2023.

We cannot guarantee that everyone will get accreditation.

The following person/s must apply for media accreditation before the event:

  • TV or Online Media Personnel including camera or sound operators
  • YouTubers/Streamers/Vloggers
  • Videographers
  • News Reporters/Journalists
  • Professional Photographers

The following person/s do not need to apply for media accreditation:

  • Southampton Pride Productions Crew
  • Solent Productions Crew
  • Amateur photographers who are not looking to sell their photos
  • Carnival Crew

DUE TO SECURITY PROTOCOLS IMPLEMENTED AS A RESULT OF INCIDENTS AT OTHER NATIONAL PRIDE EVENTS, ONLY THOSE WITH MEDIA ACCREDITATION WILL BE ALLOWED TO RECORD OR CREATE CONTENT WITHIN THE BOUNDARY OF THE SOUTHAMPTON PRIDE SITE. WE WILL NOT ACCEPT APPLICATIONS AFTER THE 21ST AUGUST 2023. MEDIA ACCREDITATION MUST NOT BE TRANSFERRED OR USED BY OTHER PERSON/S WITHOUT PRIOR WRITTEN CONSENT FROM SOUTHAMPTON PRIDE CIC.
