Media Accreditation

Southampton Pride is a completely volunteer lead organisation with none of our family being paid for the work we do. Without the hard work of our incredible volunteers, our event simply could not operate.

Journalists, photographers and members of the media who wish to cover Southampton Pride should complete this form to apply for accreditation. Accredited media have direct access to the March and priority access into the Pride Square site. Non-accredited media who are attending Southampton Pride events may be asked to leave.

Accreditation is given at the discretion of Southampton Pride and not all applications will be successful. If awarded, Accreditation will be available for collection from the Southampton Pride Volunteer Control on Saturday 24th August 2024.

Closing date for applications: Monday 19th August at 17.00.

The following person/s must apply for media accreditation before the event:

TV or Online Media Personnel including camera or sound operators
YouTubers/Streamers/Vloggers
Videographers
News Reporters/Journalists
Professional Photographers

The following person/s do not need to apply for media accreditation:

Pride Productions Crew
Solent Productions Crew
Carnival Stage Crew

Please note: Southampton Pride reserves the right to withdraw media accreditation at any point without explanation. All members of the accredited press are required to return media passes to the control desk when they depart the event.

Media who wish to interview acts must gain approval and consent directly from the artist or their team. No accreditation will be given by Southampton Pride to access the stage area.
