2024 FAQs

Southampton Pride 2024 is taking place across two whole days for the very first time. We will be returning to our traditional slot on the August Bank Holiday Weekend - Saturday 24th August & Sunday 25th August.

Guildhall Square, Above Bar Street, Southampton, SO14 7DU

This year there is a change to our site layout. There will not be any entry from Above Bar Street.

The Quilter Main Entrance is now located on Civic Centre Road through the gates to the Civic Centre Car Park.

There will also be a second accessible entrance on Commercial Road.

Train Station

Southampton Railway Station is approximately a 7-minute taxi drive and a 11-minute walk away from the venue.

Car parking

There is no car parking on site.

There are medical and welfare facilities available within the square provided by St John Ambulance. Please ask a member of security to direct you to the facilities if required.

You are permitted to bring the required medication into the square. Please bring a copy of your prescription or a doctor’s note. Please make sure you only bring enough for the duration of the event and ensure you keep it safe with you at all times.

While alcohol is permitted in the square (bought onsite, not brought in), anybody who is deemed to be seriously under the influence of alcohol will be asked to leave at the discretion of security or an event organiser.

We're certain you won't go hungry with a wide array of food and drink stalls inside the venue offering some of the most delicious cuisines. We have everyone's favourites on our roster and our concession stalls will be offering refreshments throughout the weekend.

Opened drinks are not permitted into the event. Sealed or empty reusable bottles (not glass) can be brought in. There will be free drinking water available at the bars inside the Guildhall for guests and bottle water (limited stock) available from the Merch Stands for 50p.

If you have a medical condition, then a doctor’s note will permit diet-specific food and drink only.
